Sri Lanka have named Tillkaratne Dilshan as skipper after deciding to rest several senior players for their tri-angle series in Zimbabwe.
Regular skipper Kumar Sangakkara, vice-captain Muttiah Muralitharan, Ex-captain Mahela Jayawardene and faster Lasith Malinga were all rested for the tri-series.
Young All-rounder Angelo Mathews, 22, has been appointed vice-captain as Sri Lanka seek to trial young players ahead of the 2011 World Cup. India will also take part in the tri-series.
Leg spinning all rounder Jeewan Mendis and batsman Dinesh Chandimal are the new players in the squad.
